This is in regards to Kroger’s new yellow bags. Week 1 of new bags handles tore off grocery’s all over the floor.
Week 2 bottom seem tore open pickle jar broke all over driveway. Week 3 seems tore open again after asking them to double bag the heavy items. Vinegar bottle broke glass all over kitchen and all over my new shoes. (Now ruined) I called the store to let them know about my last three Kroger shopping experiences with their new bags.
I was told that they have had several complaints about the new bags but there was nothing they could do about the lost grocery’s or may shoes! They suggested I call the corporate office. After several calls getting nothing but a voice message to call back later they were experiencing heavy call volume on their complaint line! I reached an operator.
I expanded to him about my last three shopping experiences at Kroger and let him know I have been a customer for well over 20 years and spend between $350-400 every week at their stores. I was rudely told there was nothing they could do for me. I let him know that I didn’t feel this was wright and maybe I should change stores. I received a very rude reply to have a good day and was hung up on.
This is the thanks you receive from Kroger for being a very long time customer. I will never set foot into a Kroger store again.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $100.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
