I went shopping at Krogers in Bevercreek Ohio. I had 7-8 items in my cart.

As I approached the checkout, an employee of Krogers walks to the entry of the checkout and tells me to go to #3 for small orders. I asked why, since the person in line is paying and I can get this done fast.

She motions another lady to get into the line that has a fuller cart, and said she wanted her to use that register since she had more, and I can go over to #3 which was 3 or 4 over... and had people in line.

Needless to say, I didn't buy ANYTHING, I left my cart and walked out.

Location: Xenia, Ohio

Agreed with Tasha and LOL again. The employee was probably a supervisor, and they have a lot of pressure on them to "control traffic".

Someone with a few items does not need a lane with a bagger, whereas someone with a cart full does. Get over yourself.

Ok ok another ignorant customer..

Look it is store POLICY DA...

Even our own managers move the customers for us. If you have a big cart of groceries you go into the lanes with a bagger. If you have 15 items or less not 20 not 30 but FIFTEEN ITEMS OR LESS you then go into the express lane.

I cannot count how many time you people have came into my line with like 40 items with it being an EXPRESS LANE!! There are three signs placed everywhere that even say "15 items or less" learn to read..

So yes they did the right thing and followed company policy. Don't like it? Tough *** go shop somewhere else

We quit shopping at Kroger's 548 Clinton Ave,43160 Ohio because of their poor service. At this location in the backlot, behind the store, is a very known hangout for *** exchange, drinking etc at night. Kroger's is aware of it,allows it.

Guess its more customers to buy in their store.

We just do not shop at Kroger's at all. We've gone to another store chain with better service and products.
