Retail stores usually say they are not responsible for cart damage and they are correct. This is why it is wise to get full coverage when insuring a car.

In your case, in an attempt to save money you chose a high($500) deductible. Not knowing you would ever have to file a claim your decision was correct but your luck ran out. I don't know what the premium difference between, say a $100 deductible or even a zero deductible is with your insurance carrier, but you can just compare the difference between the various deductibles and you will probably find that you saved a few hundred dollars over the years by taking a change and going with the high($500) deductible. You really cannot blame a store for the laziness of customers in not returning their carts to the "cart corral" and subsequent damage to vehicles.

Most stores won't allow carts out when there is high wind---at least a responsible retailer won't. The cart boys usually work pretty hard but they are often delegated to other jobs by management which cuts down on their cart retrieval.

Bottom line: make sure you are well-insured. Sorry about that.

It's fine to call the store about this, but honestly they can't do anything at store level in regards to credit cards. There is no system they have access to to let them do that. You have to call corporate, which is 1-800-KROGERS, and they can do it from their end.

You may have shopped there after midnight but evidently not enough people did to justify the cost of staying open. It’s just a business decision.

Why in the World did you Have to curse at the manager in the first place?Why did you need that many pcs of Powerade in the first place?Since you are This upset to post on pissed consumer, either send 1) the District office for this Kroger location a letter detailing your complaint, including the curse word you used or 2) their Corporate Headquarters a complaint including the exact same information.That information is found on their website.

Krogers should go out and donate a bunch of food to all of the homeless and hungry people across the america. They should issue a challenge to Preident trump saying that whatever he will personally pledge out of his own funds, that kroger will match it.

If he would donate 100 million dollars, then Kroger would donate 100 million dollars, etc. I wonder how much he would give?
