Update. A family member went to Kroger yesterday and had a pleasant experience. I did not mean to come off as snotty on my review regarding income. I was upset when I wrote the comment because I had just returned home from an unpleasant situation at Kroger. I spent $70 on soap, juice, deodorant, lotion, etc, etc. and was made to feel horrible. So yes, I was very mad and it wasn\'t because of buyer\'s remorse. As snotty as my comment was is as snotty as Kroger tends to behave at times.

I know I\'m not the only one in my apartment complex/community who shops there. Our community is full of very good, hard-working people who earn and have a lot more than I do and it is upsetting to think we are being treated poorly. I hate when companies take advantage of the support dedicated customers and an entire community can give.

Kroger cannot continue to treat good customers like criminals, no matter what the customers look like. The last time I checked, it is a grocery store, not the theater or something. Everyone needs to eat and purchase goods to create a functional, stable household. So much drama should not be involved in purchasing household products.

Kroger at Eastpointe Ridge in Columbus, Ohio treats my family members and me as if we're criminals. The store is right next to our apartment complex, so it's easier to walk to the store rather than drive.

I can get anything from food, to greeting cards, to toys for my 7-year-old. Needless to say, a lot of money is spent at this store. I take a cute little cart so I can easily wheel my groceries home. Normally when we go there, the off duty police office is either outside smoking a cigarette or he's inside the store acting like a 2-year-old joking with the rather *** acting teenagers who work there.

Sometimes he'll hang out at the door so he can intimidate actual customers as we walk out the door. If he's not doing that, they have one of their employees follow close behind you when you're walking out the door, picking out sanitary napkins or getting orange juice, popcicles or whatever else. I understood when it happened when we first moved in, but months later, it's still happening and it *** me off. My husband works nights and we're a one car family, so if I need soap, deodorant or toilet paper, I have no choice, I have to go there.

Kroger in Central Ohio is well known for treating their customers horribly because they have a stronghold on the market. I makes me so mad because I know my family's income is so much more than that of the store managers, let alone the cashiers and, yet, I'm treated like the *** of the earth. The apartment complex I live in isn't full of poor, welfare people. We pay close to $1000 a month because we had to downsize from our home due to the economy.

I hate being treated so poorly. But guess what, Kroger does not give a you-know-what one way or the other.

I was expecting that. One car, more money in the bank, I like it that way.

My appearance, work clothes and my casual clothes are very user and eye friendly. I have the benefit of looking a lot younger than my age. I'm very friendly and outgoing, educated and well-spoken.

I carry only a wristlet wallet in the store. I guess the only thing I can't change is the obvious and both you and I know what that is.

With only one car, you could shop during the daytime, when your husband is sleeping. Also if he has such good income, you should be able to get another car. Also if as you say your family is being treated like criminals, could it be something in your appearance or actions?
