On today, August 3, 2017, I visited The Kroger on 3425 Cascade Rd. I shopped for 21/2 hours.

There was no bagger; the clerk on duty Reluctanly helped me take the, groceries out of the cart. My bill was 134.00. I asked about the, senior discount. She s aid the program had been cut.

I called for manager on duty. His name is Domonique Goda He,informed me that there was no longer a,discount. He was very abrupt and offered no apology or remedy. I asked for the corporate # and I called them in my car and I stated my complaint to the 1800 kroger line.

I never knew that policy was changed. I teceived No letter newspaper article no flyer in the store. As a ,courtesy to me a,5.00 discount would have made me feel like,a,valued customer.

I am applauled, that Kroger does not honor its senior citizens. Dismayed and dissapointed Dr Joanne Lottie 404 978 **** Thanks

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

The Kroger location I work at discontinued the Senior Discount as well.

Turns out customers who were not Seniors received the discount.

I am talking about young twenty and thirty somethings.

Forty somethings and fifty somethings as well.

So you can thank the Kroger customers who got the Kroger discount when the should not have.

So really your complaint is with those customers instead of with Kroger Corporate Headquarters or with the Manager at that location. So what kind of apology did you want from the manager as well as from their Corporate Headquarters?

What would you tell Kroger after finding out that twenty somethings, thirty somethings, forty somethings and fifty somethings received the Senior discount as well? What would you have told the manager at that location?

The senior discount was what, 5%? so you would have saved 6 dollars and 70 cents.

If you google why the senior discount program was cut it explains that they lowered prices across a lot of stores so that no matter what day you go you would always be saving.

I would be upset if it was like 20% or 30%, something like that but 5% is a big of a joke.

Also, as a alternative, if you do not already do so, couponing would save you more than 7 dollars.
