Kroger - Medication Refill Review

I just simply wanted the pharmacist to submit an authorization for an early refill on a medication. This was not a narcotic and it was only 3 days early. I called two days in a row and the employees were rude and acted like I was "bothering" them. I was told a call had been put into my Dr. But nothing ever came of it. I'm not so much mad about the fact that I couldn't get the early refill but rather how I was consistently treated. I am in the process of changing pharmacies after using Kroger for quite some time. Rude manager name Teresa at 331 location

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Teresa is the manager for Krogers at normandy/woodforest blvd and she is a ***. Every time I see her she is always in a bad mood. I can never figure her out on why she is like that. Also inside the krogers there is a bank and I bank there as well. Well one time she came around and threw something over the teller, just because she didn't like the bow on the ATM. She said it looks ugly in her store. I was shocked on how the *** she got hired in the first place. Unprofessional, rude and obnoxious

I have grocery stores I have shopped regularly (several times a week) and I would not be able to tell you the manager's name or even what they look like! I suspect you may know this Teresa is some other capacity or you dislike her for reasons that have nothing to do with her job.

Asked to leave Kroger because they were waxing the floor

Early on morning of August 14th, around 5:15, I entered the Kroger at 945 W Lamar Blvd Arlington, TX 76012 where I am a regular customer and was told to leave. I asked why the store was closed when it is supposed to be open 24 hours. I was informed that the floor in the back of the store was being waxed. I asked if the store was open 24 hours and the employee responded "yes, but it is closed now." First, there was no sign or warning that the store was closed to be closed on this date at a certain time. The door was open as usual. If the mangement felt that they must close the entire store because one part of it was not safe for customers, then the doors should have been closed and locked and this change to the regular store hours should have been clearly announced days before. Second, I have little time for grocery shopping. I am on a tight schedule and that forary into Kroger wasted valuable time for me. If I had known, I could have altered my grocery shopping plans accordingly. There is no way I could have known that the store was closed as I was driving down the Interstate. Third, I find being asked to leave personally insulting. If the doors are open for business, I should not be asked to leave. This manuever by Kroger management was ***, rude, and inconsiderate.

I don't consider it rude, if anything it was an inconvenience for you, but it sure wasn't rude.

Kroger - Poor Service Review from San Joaquin Hills, California

I'm tired of the long wait to get my paperwork. As a truck driver if you think I will recommend any of my family buying from any of your stores, you've got some serious wrong thinking. Sitting in a door for 4 pallets so the reciever can look at it takes 5+ hrs. Since your workers think my time is so unimportant, then so is my business. I've talked to several drivers and some have spent up to 20hrs. Really! I'll go out of my way to send truckers and their families to your competitors. We are people too.

Krogers said half of my purchase must go on Charge Card.

The clerk said we had very good credit and that they would take a check up to 276.80 and the amount was cumulative or something. Needless to say this was our last visit there for some time. I was not there for the event as I would have truly shown my ***. For years $300 plus weekly in groceries paid by check. Poof. Your bad. You have lost several generations of shoppers that refuse to put groceries on Plastic. I need 80 more words to get this review posted. That is pretty annal too. You will be assimilated. Out.

Just *** use cash, it's that simple. Don't be an *** simply because you're too lazy to cash a check or withdraw money from the bank, better yet, get a debit card which is the same as checks, except cheaper most of the time.

Your spelling and grammar is at a low first grade level and you call the employee a girl when she is an adult?

Guest

A female grocery store bagger quite often can legitimately be referred to as a GIRL, if they are 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 etc years old. I do NOT refer to teen girls as women or as adults. They are GIRLS.

Teen or not, they probably have betters spelling and grammar than the OP who appears to be 8 years old.

Kroger - Employee Review from Bellevue, Washington

Very RUDE Caucasian lady at the Kroger on NW Hwy Dallas TX. She acts like she is busy to keep from helping a customer. I am in there EVERY morning and at first I thought she was just having a bad day!!!!!.....no she is just RUDE!!!!! she tends to watch the black customers she will be faking like she is stocking and as soon as someone black heads to self check out...She is right there not willing to assist you just to watch today there were 2 machines that notified her for assistance but she just stood there. I guess I don't understand her purpose! But I think if she is going to hang out at the entrance she needs to modify her attitude!!*!*

it is ridiculous to deny purchasing alcohol just because everyone in the party doesn't have an i.d. Id understand if it was the law, but it isn't ,, but we're talk about a 3rd rate companies policy,, and the better judgement of a cashier.... is all of this necessary? I mean if ya wanna make it a policy to say that you handle business that way then go ahead,, but to enforce your employees to think its necessary to do so? That's the corporate brainwashing. In fact ive already got a number of supporters to pass certain bills that establish enforcement of laws in store operations over policy...

your G.f. needs a new b.f....get a life, there are people living under bridges, people going hungry..have some cheese with that whine

People should always carry their ID with them when they leave home. The reason for this is if you were in a really bad car accident and neither one of you were unconscious, if you have your IDs with you, Emergency people have a way of notifying the next of kin a lot sooner, than if they have to do some investigating to find out who the person without an ID is. It is just plain common sense.

Guest

I'm sorry but your statement makes absolutely no sense. First of all a lot of companies that sell alcohol do this, not just Kroger.

My husband and I went to the liquor store two days ago, I'm 32, he's 25, and bought a bottle. I never touched the bottle I was just with him, he handed it to the cashier and the guy asked for both of our I.D.'s. I didn't get angry, I just gave him mine. He thought I was younger than my husband ironically.

It's also funny because I have seen people take their children in the liquor store where I live, we were in a near by town when this happened. Where we actually live, the ABC store doesn't do that, if you're with someone as long as you don't handle the liquor they won't card you. Also, as a company any policy that they have are policies that the employees must follow. So just because you don't agree with the policy isn't grounds to not follow it.

I've been to a lot of gas stations and grocery stores that all card not only the purchaser but any person that is with them. Going forward it is better that your gf make sure she carries her ID or stay in the car when you are purchasing alcohol!

DO NOT BUY A PHONE FROM KROGER OR USE IWIRELESS

I am elderly & bought a phone at Kroger, & bought a $50 Unlimited Card. Within a few days I realized I could not see the small letters & #'s so I took it back to Kroger & nicely asked for a different phone. I was told by the sales clerk I had 30 days to return it but the manager said the policy was 14 days - I missed the deadline of 1 day. He offered me a really cheap phone for $4.99 & said it was the only option I had. I originally paid $19.99 plus tax but received no refund - just a cheap phone & was treated like a criminal. It was embarrassing & humiliating. Never again.

Review from Spring, Texas

I am a loyal KROGER shopper. Right now in Spring, Tx it is 91 with heat node of 101. I just left Kroger and saw an elderly man, an employee, he drags his leg and he was out gathering carts. I broke a sweat walking to my car. I called to comment and the female manager simply said, "He knows it is his job." Then quickly added, "He asked to go out" Of course he wants to do his job, elderly people are hard working and possibly in fear of losing his job. I am disgusted and offended. Our elderly do not tolerate heat as well. I asked why she did not send anyone or go out in the heat herself to help. She said she had. I asked if it was today in this heat and she stated she had collected carts in the past. I will not go back to Kroger until they prove that they have compassion for our elderly. I will drive 3 extra miles to HEB.

The store manager Anna puts up a good front, but treats employees like ***! She doesn't have the common courtesy to tell a new employee that she "doesn't meet Kroger standards" she leaves it up to other mangers to do her dirty work!

The employee that was let go never received any training, was never late, came to work when called on her day off, and NEVER told that she did anything wrong, was let go because she didn't want to be called by the name Patty.

Anna is a pure loser! Way to go Kroger!

Guest

That would have to be the store manager Anna!

Krogers could give a *** less about their employees. If he isn't black or the illegal hispanic they could give a ***.k less.

THE TRUTH!

You give a web address and when you try to submit the entry ID It's invalid STUPID

Your Kroger feedback .com web site doesn't except the information on your receipt. That is why I never answer these type of surveys!

Thought this time might be different. You entry ID# is 620-363-**-**-81-110.

It does not fit in the box.If your going to run a survey you should test the web site better. And then your complaint form is absurd that you need to have at least a hundred words in order for it to have any kind of merit. I find the whole thing to be a big waste of time and highly unfriendly to the consumer who has been shopping with you for over 35 years! Thanks but no thanks, Alan Haddan

I have tried 2 times. It's a scam, I think. They don't want you to enter, just want your phone number and other personal information.

Guest

My entry id doesn’t even have enough numbers to fit in the boxes maybe they should find a new system if they even care

Guest

I totally agree with this customer..if u can't make available what u r offering, then don't offer anything in the way of bonuses, etc.

I think your bonus offerings have gotten out of hand..the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing

Guest

I've had a problem with the entry id number. I have filled out the survey successfully many times.

However, for the last year or so there is often NO id number given on the receipt. Sometimes it is a partial number. If you are going to have a survey, please correct this problem.

You do have a competitor very close by which I don't go to, but I may start. If you're actually wanting and pushing for a survey, this problem needs to be solvedone NOW.

Guest

I also could not find the entry id. ??? Why do they want feedback if you can't answer.

Guest

Here is the trick...enter numbers starting at right hand box in sequence as printed on receipt. Then, the blank boxes are filled in as zeros.-Such as 000 000 255 7 1** **

Guest

I agree the survey numbers don't always line up with the boxes or are not on the receipt at all. If I knew how te numbers were generated I'd have a better shot at guessing what box to put them in.

Bradshawkb@***.com

I definitely can relate! I called the Kroger in my neighborhood and asked for a manager.

I was told that the manager was too busy. I don't think the managers know that there isn't an Entry ID on the receipt. Why harass the employee by forcing them to give out consumer surveys when you're *** website won't except the entry ID. *** *** ***!

First debit only asks ..

NOW THIS.. U look *** Kroger.

Guest

why doesn't your site work even with my password?

10/08/2014 - Works fine for me and has for the past year

www.krogerfeedback.com - You should see the Date, Time:, Entry ID: form fields as well as a display of the format as it appears on your receipt.

Everything else at Kroger works well for me too. Friendly people, very clean, very well organized, easy to move through store, rarely have to wait at all at checkout.

5% discount for seniors on Tuesdays. Very fresh produce and priced lower than most competitors all summer.
