Unjustly accused of shoplifting

I urge ALL consumers to boycott Kroger's. I was FALSELY ACCUSED of shoplifting there and was arrested. I went into a Kroger store last week and was buying several bottles of wine for a party hosted by several members of my congregation - let me also say that I am...

Kroger Pharmacy Overcharges Customers

The last FOUR times we have been to the Kroger Pharmacy on Scottsville Road in Bowling Green, KY, we have had issues. Three times I was told I didn't have refills on my prescriptions, when in fact, I did. The last time they said I had no refills, they went so far WITHOUT MY CONSENT to call my doctor for a refill. Today my credit card was charged $50.00 too much for a prescription. I called the pharmacy, the girl admitted it was a mistake, instructed me to COME IN and she'd refund the money...instead of just crediting my CREDIT CARD that was used to pay for the prescription. I contacted the store manager, and after some time he called me back and told me the pharmacy DID NOT make a mistake and that they would refund the difference anyway BUT I STILL HAD TO COME BACK IN!!!! I am SO ANGRY that I could literally SCREAM!!!!!!!!!! It is the store's mistake, not mine. My allergies are so severe that I cannot go outside, my daughter, who picked up the prescription is at work right now. We spend a LOT OF MONEY in that Kroger, but know this, if my money is not credited back to my credit card, NOT ONE MORE CENT will be gotten from us. We WERE LOYAL customers, regarless..NO MORE, not one more cent! I am extremely upset and I am going to complain on every social networking site from Twitter to FaceBook about how poorly I have been treated. This it ridiculous and should be addressed IMMEDIATELY! The pharmacy in that store is IN MAJOR NEED OF SOME MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

calm down killer... they need your card to credit the account!!

if you are really having this many problems with that pharmacy and store...

why do you SEN YOUR KID THERE TO SHOP FOR YOU? sounds to me like your are not the one being put out!!!

@PissedConsumer632622

They credited my card without me having to go in once I threw a big enough fit. I was the one put out.

My 18-year-old daughter is the one who picked up my prescription for me because my allergies are so severe that I cannot be outside very much. The next time you think about posting such an insensitive comment, you might want to consider the health of the consumer and the age of the "child" who is getting the prescription for her mother. We did change pharmacies, though.

I now have a great pharmacist who is willing to work with me instead of tying to rip my head off by price gauging. Thanks.

Racist

I was in Kroger on 2/29/2012 @ 9:11pm. My mom needed to go to the Money Shop to take care of money issues. We did a little shopping afterwards. While I was in the back where the fruits were I told my mom I had very bad chest pains. Mom insisted I get a motorized cart,...

I am a senior with cancer and I can tell you that there have been times when I go into a Kroger and I cannot find a mobile cart and I see others riding in the carts that young and look healthy. This is probably the reason the Police officer said something to you it was not because of the color of your skin but due to the fact that a senior or someone truly disabled could not find a cart ! It is truly sickening that most blacks try to use the race card every time things do not go their way!!

it's kroger. people talk all the time and most of us all hang out together. and if she's a manager it is not her job to bag.

#446963

I'm sorry, what? People talk about other employees all the time.

They also have lives outside of the store.

It's obvious you never had a job, or passed school. Your spelling is awful, you clearly don't know what punctuation is, and you don't know how to complain without sounding like a spoiled bítch.

Krogers organic flour flat will not rise!!

Not only does Kroger overcharge us everytime we go in there but they sell fake Organic Bread. Their Premier Brand Organic Flour will not rise in my breadmaker. Yet when I use any other flour, it does fine. Their flour is old and flat and I highly doubt it is organic. We bought two bags of organic flour at the Middlesboro, Kentucky Krogers. In addition, I have to agree with other complaints that the meat they sell ground beef made us sick also. I will not buy meat there again. On several occasions they have overcharged us, granted they give the item free, but the time it takes to get your money back and the hassle is not worth it. They need to straighten up their act!

Had nothing but success with Kroger Organic Flour. I bake sourdough from scratch (no break maker) because I don't like using commercial yeast, however sourdough is finickier than yeast bread baking.

Much more likely your yeast is bad.

It is pretty unlikely that it is 'fake' organic. The term organic is quite regulated.

#444106

Sounds like your yeast is bad.

#433603

I don't know anything about organic flour, but I do know that Kroger seems to be a bit proud of their merchandise. It seems that every time I go to any Kroger stores in my area, something is left out of my bag.

It's like pulling teeth to get the item back, even with a receipt. Maybe go to a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's if you have any in your area?

Kroger- misleading price on seafood

I purchased Kroger cocktail shrimp 2 pounds for & $14.00 SKU# 0111096**** The shrimp is mushy and water logged. It has lots of ice in the bag. I let it thaw (sealed in refrigerator), I took out the shrimp and left a lot of water behind. What was left was 10 oz. of the 32 oz. was water. So price per oz. of CONTENTS works out to be $ 0.43. Doing the math, paying $7.00 per pound of water is a sham. So the real price per pound of shrimp is $ 9.18 per pound or $ 18.68 for the 32 oz. not $14 as advertised. Tom

Things your Kroger Courtesy Clerk (Bagger) won't tell you

1. Do we make fun of some of your purchases? Yes. Yes we do. 2. Want to get us angry? Ask for paper in plastic. We make it as heavy as possible. 3. When you have an extremely full cart, I will go get another one for you. This is to shorten your wait. I have never...

Kroger Pharmacy - RUDE, lazy, inconsiderate

Once I went shopping at Market Basket and got just over $10 worth of groceries so that I could get thw special sales prices. You had to have a minimum $10 purchase to get other stuff for a reallly good deal.

Wail, I weighed my organic bananas and knew exactly what they would be by the pound, pushing my total to ten dollars and a few cents. When the lady rang up my purchase, she rang the bananas up at the price per pound for the regular non-organic kind and so my total purchase came out to just under $10. Literally just a few cents less than $10. I had to go talk to the manager because I paid for everything and then didn't get the discount on the 12 packs of soda, so I ended up paying the regular price.

The manager game me a refund for the price difference and scolded.me to.make sure that I purchased ten dollars in the future. So after that I always made sure that if I got produce as part of the $10 purchase, that is was a definitely going to be enough.

False advertised pricing with unhelpful cashiers

I just went shopping at Super1Foods and they had half gallons of milk for $1.88 and gallons for $3.11. I bought two half gallons because the expiration date on them was December 28th, while the expiration date on the half gallons was December 24th. Well worth paying a little bit more for 4 extra days on the expiration date.

Kroger stores frequently have pricing errors -- i.e., the price tag on the shelf is lower than the price charged at the registers. Kroger will reimburse the price for one item charged in error. But not everyone checks their receipts or catches the error. Also, the...

Big Bear used to give you the item foe free if it rang up the wrong price. I got several items on the house because I always knew exactly what I was post to pay and wasn't afraid to nut-up and say something about it when it rang up the wrong price.

I remember one time Big Bear had a special where all 12 packs of soda were 99cents each. The store was jam packed with long lines of people buying a bunch of 12 packs.

Sadly they went out of business. Probably because they ran such good specials like with thw soda.

Kroger all natural corn with GLASS!!!!!!!

Hello, I bought a bag of corn from Fry's. It was Kroger all natural sweet corn. We opened the bag up and dumped it in a pot and added some water, I put a lid on it. When it was done I took it and dumped it into a bowl to bring to the table. When I dumped the corn into the bowl I saw something that was not corn, it was a large shard of glass. I am appalled that glass could make it through the QC process its not a small piece it was just shy of an inch. I have two boys and wow thank god that nobody got this in their mouth it would have for sure caused a severe injury. I still have the bag and the pictures of the corn with glass. They should recall the corn and maybe all their veggies. I think people need to know so that they can not just serve this up and possible kill someone. They offered me a coupon for more veggies with glass. What a bunch of BS Don't buy Kroger foods!

no doubt some how glass got in there. mistakes happen.

even those that could be harmfull. but have them pull all the produce? are you serious? return it.

take the free offer and get another package. if there is another shard of glass in the next one you may have something to really complain about.

#394256

Its easy enough for anyone to take a piece of glass and stick it in their food and then take a picture of it. Anything to get something free.
